So What's Next?

In Physics we learn that a body at rest tends to stay at rest, and a body in motion tends to stay in motion (unless acted upon by another force, of course).

Well I think this year I'm finally determined to keep this body in motion.

The big question I had to answer was how.

Did I want to dive further into triathlons -- working on my swimming and biking to become more competitive in my age group? Or did I want to train for longer distances and keep following Jennifer's path -- maybe moving onto Olympic-distance tri's or even longer ones, like half-Ironmans or even full-Ironmans?

Or maybe I should try something familiar yet new, like duathlons? I love running and biking, and I'm still a little intimidated by the swim part of triathlons, so maybe this would be where I could really flourish?

Or maybe since I've had such a great running year so far and can (for the first time ever in my life) actually see myself running a full marathon -- maybe I need to keep that momentum going?

After all, I'm already half-way trained...

Yes, I think that is what I should do.

But not just any marathon would do.

No, my first needs to be memorable.

At last year's miniMarathon expo I was drawn to one particular booth. I knew that if I ever did a full marathon, this would be the one.

That marathon was the Air Force Marathon.

I'll save the reasoning for another post, but for now, I just want to put it out there that this is definitely going to happen.

Oh crap.

This is either going to be incredibly awesome, or incredibly stupid...
