Training Too Much?

So I feel like I'm pretty reasonable with what I expect out of myself, but there are times when you get so caught up in what you're doing that you don't cut yourself any slack.

If that's where you are, you need to read this post:

Regardless of what you're training for, it's inevitable that you're going to feel like this at some point.

You're going to feel like you're training all the time.

You're going to sacrifice things because of your training.

But at some point you have to take control of your training and do what's best for you mentally.

I'm definitely not condoning skipping workouts -- especially considering how well I did at the mini as a result of proper training -- but you have to cut yourself some slack every now and again!

After all, we're doing this for fun, right??

Also, I like the reference to "stupid o'clock" -- in my book, anything before 7am falls into that category...
