Baby Cook's Nursery

Now that the chair is finally done, and Jen spent the better part of Wednesday organizing everything, we can officially say the nursery is complete!

We're absolutely ecstatic about how it turned out, so I thought I'd give you a little virtual tour.

Crib: DaVinci Piedmont 4-in-1 - Target.com
(Of course, we're saving room for the name above the crib.)
Toy Bin: Amazon.com
Picture Frames: Michael's

Monitor: VTech Safe and Sound Digital Audio Monitor - Amazon.com
We decided to go with an audio-only monitor for a few different reasons:
1) It was less than half the price of the video monitor we were considering.
2) Our house isn't that big, but the consensus seemed to be that the audio-only monitors had better signal strengths and ranges than their video-capable counterparts (and we will definitely be taking them out into the backyard next summer).
3) This was one of the few monitors we could find that came with two parent units. This wasn't a big plus, especially since the battery would last all day, but I know it'll be nice to not have to run back downstairs or up because we forgot to bring the monitor with us.

Bouncy Seat: Fisher-Price Deluxe Infant to Toddler Comfort Rocker - Babies R Us
Diaper Genie: Diaper Genie Essentials - Babies R Us

We LOVE how the colors match! And I promise that was totally by accident!

Exersaucer, high chair, and my diaper bag all came from the Little Treasure's Sale, along with lots of other great stuff. Read about everything we got there, here.

I'm amazed how close we stuck to the original design!

So that's it, that's the room we're going to bring our little one home to!

  2. So cute! I remember how great it felt to have the room finished for Auria before she arrived. We're not so organized this time... guess we should get to that in the next few weeks ;)
